FORAGER’S FEAST | THANKSGIVING TABLE DECOR

This year’s Thanksgiving tablescape is full of freshly foraged foliage and a color palette of terracotta and teal. We had so much fun setting up this table, often stepping back to say how stunning and unexpected these colors look together.

The layers from the linen runner to the fresh foliage to the flat wear all add dimension and intrigue. So much to see and explore at the table.

This top down view shows a glimpse of all the elements working together. And how about that teal? It is unexpected and popping against the terracotta. Again, STUNNING!!

The maple leaves, greenery, orange berry pods, and chestnuts were collected while walking our dogs the day before. They were put in water immediately to preserve until the photo shoot the next day. We love how easy foraging is and what a difference it makes!

This table is oozing texture. The teal soup bowls mimic the vertical lines in the candle votives. The smooth, painted ceramic plate rests on the handmade glazed one, which sits on the crisp linen napkin, all grounded by a shiny copper charger. The centerpiece features stiff foliage, glossy chestnuts, spongy orange, and perfectly round pods.

Blood oranges were cut with a quarter slice taken out to keep in-tact but showcase the gorgeous color from within. And BTW, this table smells amazing!

We love a mood board. So much inspiration is drawn from the items we were able to forage and find in the house.
