KIRKLAND CEDAR COTTAGE

For this Detached Accessory Dwelling Unit (DADU) project, we combined Pacific Northwest architecture with the client's modern European style to create a timeless and sophisticated workspace that also serves as entertainment overflow. Throughout the DADU, there is a cohesive design language of soft curves, fluted glass, and brass hardware. For the living space, a color palette of a cream, black and blue with hints of rust was used to evoke a calming atmosphere with depth and interest. The bathroom used the same base colors accented with watery green tiles and warm wood tones for a spa-like feel. This project perfectly balances the need for a serene work environment with the flexibility of an entertainment area, all within a refined and modern design framework.
